If you want calls to the old number to reach FieldBot, you turn on call forwarding at the carrier that owns that line (the phone company or the app that number lives in).

How they hook it up

Finish signup. You will see this shop’s FieldBot number.
Log in to the carrier for the old number.
Set forwarding:
- Unanswered / busy — their phone rings first; if they miss it, it goes to FieldBot.
- All calls — every ring goes to FieldBot.
Forward to the FieldBot number we show after signup.
Place one test call to the old number and confirm it lands on the desk.

We cannot flip forwarding for you. Only the account that owns the old number can. If you would rather stop using the old line, point ads and the website at the FieldBot number instead.
